Charlene Mettler (or "YaYa" as she is fondly referred to by her grandchildren) is known for bringing the family together and serving up the best local cuisine. We are proud to share our family's recipes with you!
  Blue Cheese Log
Enjoy this deliciously elegant and simple holiday hors d' oeuvre at your next party...don't forget the Mettler Wine!
1 Package (8 ounces) Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp white cheddar
3/4 cup crumbled Point Reyes Blue Cheese
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until creamy. Next, fold in the cheddar cheese and blue cheese. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours. Meanwhile, in a pan, saute the curry powder in the butter for 1 minute, then add the pecans, cooking and stirring for 2 minutes. Mix in parsley. Let cool. Take your cheese mixture from the refrigerator and roll into 2- 5 inch logs or one large log. Roll cheese log(s) in the pecan mixture coating evenly. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve with crostini and a glass of Mettler Wine!
